Energy Mark

For product, R&D, QA and QC teams

Know where the energy result is heading while the test is still running.

Predicted final energy consumption, with a range, early in every test.

The problem

What gets in the way today.

Answers arrive at the end

A unit heading off target is found when the run finishes. By then the next decision is already late.

Wasted runs

A test that ran in the wrong conditions is often noticed only after the clock stops.

Slow design loops

Each design change waits for a full test before anyone knows its effect on energy.

What you get

Earlier answers, without changing the test.

Final result, predicted early

Predicted energy consumption with a range, while the test is running.

The band it falls in

Shown against the band the product is designed for, using your standard's formula.

Live data checks

Bad data and off-standard conditions are flagged mid-run, not after it.

Honest calls

When it is too early to tell, it says Continue testing.

By role

What changes for each team.

Product and R&D

  • See early how a design change affects final energy consumption.
  • Compare prototypes and component choices sooner.
  • Spend full test time on the variants that matter.

QA and QC

  • Flag units heading outside their intended band while the test runs.
  • Catch tests running in the wrong conditions before the run is wasted.
  • Keep an audit trail of every prediction against its certified result.

Test lab

  • Plan rigs and chambers with a view of what is coming.
  • Spot data and sensor problems mid-run.
  • Keep your procedure, your standard and your sign-off.

In the lab

Every rig, with an early read.

Each running test shows where it is heading. Your team sees which units need attention, hours before the run ends.

What your engineers see

Every session, with its reasons.

The trace, the predicted range, the quality checks and the next action, on one screen.

Decision gates

Every test reaches one of four decisions.

While the test runs, Energy Mark checks the data, then the prediction, then the band. Each result comes with a clear next step.

  1. Live testLogger data arrives
  2. 1
    Data valid?If not: Engineer review
  3. 2
Range narrow enough? If not: Continue testing
  4. 3
Inside the target band?Yes: Target match. No: Outside target
Band the product is designed forPredicted range

Gate 1: data check

Engineer review

Check the test
Prediction held
Band 1Band 2Band 3Band 4Band 5

Bad data, off-standard test conditions or an unfamiliar design.

What your team does: An engineer checks the test. No prediction is shown until it passes.

Gate 2: range check

Continue testing

Not clear yet
Band 1Band 2Band 3Band 4Band 5

The predicted range is too wide, or it crosses a band boundary.

What your team does: Let the test run. Energy Mark checks again at the next point.

Gate 3: band check

Target match

On track
Band 1Band 2Band 3Band 4Band 5

The whole predicted range sits inside the band the product is designed for.

What your team does: Move on to the next unit or design. The full test still certifies.

Gate 3: band check

Outside target

Off track
Band 1Band 2Band 3Band 4Band 5

The whole predicted range sits outside the band the product is designed for.

What your team does: Start the engineering fix now, not at the end of the test.

Questions

What your team will ask.

Does this change our test procedure?

No. Your procedure, your standard and your sign-off stay exactly as they are. Energy Mark reads the data the test already produces.

Can we label a product from a prediction?

No. Labels and declarations come from the certified test result. Predictions are for engineering and planning.

Which products does it cover?

Any product with a measured energy test, from refrigerators and air conditioners to motors, transformers and batteries.

What happens when a design is new?

Energy Mark recognises designs it has not seen and returns Engineer review instead of a guess.

Proof of concept
